H., has voted for water-works. —Cimmaron, Kan., will vote on the water-works question. —The water-works at Waynesburg, Pa., are nearly completed. —Elgin, Ill., has appropriated $50,000 for the water-works plant. —G. J. Cunningham will bore an artesian well at Darlington, S. C. —Water rents paid in New York city last week aggregated $21,093. —E. H. Peck has proposed to build water-works at Fort Scott, Kan. —The water mains will be extended in several streets of Atlanta, Ga. —An addition will be made to the new pumping plant at Wheeling, W.
