Please mention FIRE AND WATER in your correspondence. —A sewerage system is contemplated for Sheffield, Ala. —It is reported that a sewerage system will be built at Brunswick, Ga. —A second lot ($75,000) of the Montgomery (Ala.) sewerage bonds has been issued. —The Senate has passed the bill appropriating $250,000 for a new city hall at Syracuse, N. Y. —Oneida, N. Y., has voted against issuing bonds for $60,000 for the construction of a sewerage system. —The sewerage system of the county from Dunning, east to the river at Jefferson, Ill., has been condemned. —The appropriations at Somerville, Mass., aggregate $371,337, and include $9500 for sewers, $4500 for sidewalks and $19,000 for the water department. —Rudolph Hering has been engaged by the city of Wichita, Kan., to…
