THE AQUEDUCT BOARD S WORK. At a meeting of the aqueduct board this week the controller was authorized to issue bonds to raise $1,000,000 for the use of the board in payment of accrued liabilities and for future expenses of construction. Controller Myers presented a resolution calling upon the chief engineer to “prepare and present to the board at the earliest possible moment authoritative data as to the time of completion of the new aqueduct, its capacity when completed, the supply to be furnished by it derived from present sources and from all new sources arising from the completion of the Sodom and Muscoot dams and reservoirs, and including also the Bronx river supply, so called; the excess of demand over such supply which it is computed will exist at the time of the new aqueduct’s completion; the estimated cost of the Quaker Bridge dam and reservoir, including all expenses…
