FROM SPECIAL CORRESPONDENCE TO FIRE AND WATER. CARSON CITY, Nev.—William Henry Doane, city clerk, sends us the following: “This city is the capital of the State, and county seat of Ormsby county. The population is about 3500. The new government building for use of the United States courts, post-office and other offices is now being erected and will probably lie finished about July 1. “ Our city election takes place on the first Monday in May, at which time one trustee from each of the first and second wards is elected for two years, and one trustee at large to serve one year.
