The roposed World’s Fair Buildings. The plans for the grounds and the dimensions of the buildings for the coming World’s Fair at Chicago having been in a general way decided upon, we give this week a map of Jackson park, showing the details of the proposed arrangements. These are so fully and plainly shown upon the diagram that an elaborate discription of them is rendered superfluous. It may, however, be noted that Jackson park, which is to be devoted to the exposition, embraces an area of 586 acres, while the eighty acres of Midway Plaisance, which connects it with Washington park, will be also available if needed. The northern end of the park is 6 1/2 miles from the Chicago city hall, and it has a frontage of two miles on Lake Michigan.
