SEWERAGE. At Minneapolis, Minn., the assessment rolls for public improvements for next year include $294,233 for sewers. The town trustees, the town engineer and the citizens of South Berkeley, Cal., are to have a conference to determine upon a satisfactory system of sewerage for that locality. At Lansingburg, N. Y., it has been decided to expend about 70,000 for additional sewers. At New London, Conn., a committee has been appointed to estimate the cost and get information as to various preliminaries to the extension of the intercepting sewer up the valley from West Coit street to Lincoln avenue, and make report at an early date. Laconia, N. H., will hold a special town meeting October to to take action with reference to the opening and conduct of its new sewer system. Los Gatos, Cal., will vote upon the question of issuing bonds for $40,000 for sewerage and other municipal works.…
