WATER SUPPLY ITEMS. An injunction has been obtained by the citizens of Athens, Ga., restraining the Mayor and council from issuing and selling bonds for the purpose of building another water works system. The rainfall in the Croton watershed for the three months from January to April was 11.07 inches, and the available storage reservoirs are nearly filled to the high water mark, with every prospect that by the beginning of the summer season all the reservoirs and lakes in Westchester county will contain their full capacity of stored water. New York city now receives a daily water supply of 163,000,000 gallons, viz: fiom the new aqueduct, 129,000,000; from the old aqueduct, 25,000,000, and from the Bronx river conduit, 9,000.000 gallons.
