Work at Fires Your chairman has asked me to read a paper with a view to extending the work of this meeting, with a chance of opening a discussion that may be of service to the cause for which we are working. It appears to me to be a difficult task, inasmuch as it must be presumptive on my part to attempt to enlighten you on work in general, as you are so well conversed in your duties and the work devolving on you when called out for active duty. Your chairman was good enough to read a very interesting paper to us on rick fires at our last meeting.
