SEWERAGE. The Nepperhan sewer at Yonkers, N. Y., has been completed, after ten months’ work, at a cost of $28,000. Chairman Pratt of the Sioux City (Ia.) sewer committee recently made a tour of inspection of the sewer outlets along the river front. James Scollard, who is employed in the sewer repair department, accompanied him and gave the aldermen some valuable information concerning the sewer drainage into the river and numerous improvements will soon be made. Bridgeport, O., will vote on issuing $12 000 sewer bonds. At a meeting of the Duluth (Minn.) board of public works held August 19, 1892, the acting city engineer submitted a final estimate of work done on the contract of Johnson & Larson for the construction of a sanitary sewer in the alley between Superior street and First street from Sixteenth avenue east to Eighteenth avenue east, amounting to $210.09.
