THE FIRE DEPARTMENTS. To govern the New York Department in its participation in the Columbus parade, October 12, Chief Hugh Bonner has issued the following: General Orders No, 2.—A division of the department, consisting of two brigades, will parade on October 12th (Columbus Day) under the command of Chief of Department Hugh Bonner. The first brigade will be under the command of Chief of Battalion Charles D. f’urroy. The second brigade will be under the command of Chief of Battalion William Duane. Companies will report with two officers and seven men, two drivers or tillermen, total eleven. Companies will march in line sixteen files front double rank, the assistant foremen on the right and left of companies, without trumpets.
