Patent Litigation on Filters. Suits have been brought against the users of filters manufactured by the O. H. Jewell Filter Company of Chicago, who are represented by Fairbanks, Morse & Co., Incorporated, of Chicago and St. Louis; the Morrison Allen Company of New York (B. F. Church being consulting engineer), and the Pennsylvania Filter Company of Philadelphia, Pa., as selling agents. The owners of the patents have decided to sue the responsible users of these infringing filters and have brought their first suits against the Murray Hill Baths, New York city. Suits against other users of infringing filters are contemplated.
