An Example Worth Following. The following convincing and logical letter has been sent to nearly every Mayor in Southern cities: ATLANTA, GA. July 12, 1893. DEAR SIR: I desire to respectfully call your attention to a matter that I deem of great importance, and to request that you give the same your thoughtful consideration. The twentieth annual session of the National Convention of Fire Chiefs convenes in Milwaukee. Wit., on August 22, and the members thereof are exerting every effort to make it one of the most instructive and enjoyable gatherings that has ever assembled.
