Pacific Coast News (From Our A’tj’ular Correspondent.) Since the disastrous fire at Fresno, Cal., anonymous letters were received by City Marshal Morgan, stating that an organization had been effected in San Francisco for the purpose of burning property. Armed guards will be stationed about packing houses and warehouses at night in the future. Chief Hunt’s monthly report was read at the meeting of the Seattle city council on the 7th inst. He reports a small loss by fire during July amounting to$4103. Amount required for operating department during August, $6888. Chief Deasy of Victoria, B. C., suspended one of his engineers, and the disgruntled man brought several false charges against his superior. On the 1st inst. the fire wardens presented a report to the Board of Aldermen recommending the tlismissal of Kngineer Atkinson, and not only exonerating Chief Thomas Deasy, but complimenting him on the state of the department and…
