WELL DRILLING NOTES The Indianapolis gas companies have had nineteen wells drilled the past summer and will shortly contract for drilling thirty more. Most of these will be drilled before the first of the year. Address the Citizens’ Trust Company or the Indianapolis Trust Company of Indianapolis. At Bruceville, Tex., an artesian well is to be sunk for a water supply. Address G. B. Harris for information. Wells have been started for a fire protection supply at Campbelltown, N. B. H. M. Tompkins of Worcester, Mass., has about completed an artesian well for Geo. Ssssions, on the Freeland place, on the road to West Sutton, which he purchased some little time ago. The well is 127 feet deep, drilled through a solid ledge of rock. Mr. Tompkins has put up one of Stover’s steel wind mills forty feet high. The well has a flow of seventy gallons a minute. A…
