SEWERAGE. At the Civil Engineers’ Club of Cincinnati last week, L. E. Chapin of Canton, O., read a paper on the subject of the new system for the disposal of sewage recently inaugurated in that city. Mr. Chapin is one of the most accomplished engineers in the West and enjoys the distinction of having devised a very complete and satisfactory system of sewage disposal. The system was described in FIRE AND WATER some weeks ago and attracted attention from municipal authorities in many quarters. The following bids were received by J. A.
