SEWERAGE City Solicitor Warwick has completed the draft of the contracts for the Reading. Pa., Subway sewers and forwarded them to Director Windrim for his countersign. The six contracts are as follows: Twenty-fourth and Pennsylvania avenue system, Ryan & Kelly, $102,000; J. A. Mundy & Bro., $138,000. Callowhill street system, C. P. Grim & Co., $94,000 George W. Ruch, $75,000; John McCann, $47,000. Twelfth street system, John McCann, $25,000. The contractors are all ready, it is said, and immediately after the contracts are signed by the Mayor work will be begun. For several days past two engineers, under the charge of B. H. Coombs, the Bangor, Me., surveyor, have been engaged in taking measurements for the location of sewers upon all the streets in Dover, Me.
