MISCELLANEOUS The Combination Ladder Company, the Rhode Island fire department supply house, number among its most recent sales: A Gleason & Bailey hand engine, at Natick, R. I.; a Gleason & Bailey hose wagon, at West Groton, Mass.; 500 feet of American hose, at Valley Falls, R. I.; an outfit of fire extension ladders for the new combination chemicals for Springfield, Mass.; a large, 3-horse Seagrave trussed truck outfit for Lynn, Mass.; safety extension ladder locks to the departments of Dayton, O., Portland, Me., Torrington, Conn., East Bridgewater, Mass., Kearney, Neb. This company made very extensive exhibits at the National, Connecticut and Massachusetts Firemen’s conventions, and have succeeded in placing a large amount of goods thereby. East Sunbury, Ba., has ordered a Gleason & Bailey hose carriage. The P. T.
