Worthington, New York, spicification B, $31,875; E. P. Allis Manufacturing Co., Milwaukee, specification A, 42-inch stroke, $34,200; George F. Blake Manufacturing Co., 7 bids, $44,900 to $59,000. Hids were opened in St. Louis, Mo., for furnishing and placing in boiler-house of high-service pumping station No. I, Bissell’s Point, eight horizontal water-tube boilers, with valves, setting, etc., as follows: Abendroth & Root Manufacturing Co., 28 Cliff street, New York, $44,500; Geary Water-Tube Boiler Co., Oil City, Pa., $34,000; National Water-Tube Boiler Co., New Brunswick, N. J., $44,975; Babcock & Wilcox Co., New York city, $71,765; John O’Brien Boiler Works Co..
