MISCELLANEOUS The following letter from Palestine, Texas, speaks for itself : Gleason & Bailey, Manufacturing Co., New York, N. Y.: Gentlemen :—The hook and ladder truck arrived in good condition. We took the truck out of the freight yard in the morning, and in the evening we had a parade of the fire department. At night, about 8:85, while the truck house was nearly full of fire men looking at the 1 ruck, we had a run for a dwelling house lire and did good service with the truck.
