WATER SUPPLY A meeting of the citizens of Naples, N. Y., was held last Friday to consider the advisability of putting water works in the village. The sentiment of those present was favorable to such action, and W. H. Tobey, C. S. Lincoln and W. L, Pottle were appointed a committee to investigate the feasibility and cost of such a project, and report at a public meeting June 3d. Hazelton, Pa., is finding considerable dfficulty in arranging to construct municipal water works The cost is much greater than was anticipated. The Mt. Vernon, N. Y., Water company is building a large reservoir at New Rochelle, immediately above the Tom Paine monument, on the hrook of that name. The brook will be spanned by an ornamental stone arch.
