PUMPING ENGINES The St. Joseph pump factory, recently destroyed by fire, is to be rebuilt. E. A. King, secretary and manager of the company, is authority for this statement. The new building will be modelled after the old one. Mr. King does not think the plans of the old building could be improved upon, as the factory was one of the most complete and commodius of its kind in the country. The directors hope the insurance companies will lose no time in settling the loss, so that the work of rebuilding can he commenced at once. The pump factory, excelsior works and house where the employes boarded, which were all [destroyed, were the property of the stock company, in winch C. jfo. France, N. r.
