THE LATE CHIEF MORLEY. Mr. Ezekiel Morley, late chief engineer of the Vineland, N. J., Fire Department, who died April 12,1895, was born in Baldwinsville, near Syracuse, N. Y., October 28, 1880, and in 1845 married to Miss Maitha Worden. Mr. Morley came to Vineland in the fall of 1863, and soon after built the homestead on West Elmer street, where he resided till his death. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellows orders, and also a ehaiter member of the Society of Chosen Friends, and member of the Lodge of Knights of Honor. He early became identified with the fire department, and, in company with George Pearson and others,organized the Volunteer Fire Company of Vineland, After the law of 1879 went into effect the old company disbanded and the new one was formed.
