A HANDSOME CATALOGUE. We have received from F. S. Hayward and Company, 355 Canal street, New York, a very neat catalogue arranged in a compact form. It contains illustrations of the various fire apparatus and appliances of which this firm are the well known manufacturers and agents. As the motto, “ Anything and Everything for Fire Protection” implies, so the book shows that the firm is in a position to furnish all descriptions of fire department supplies which contribute to the efficiency of the service. The book also contains many new and available devices not heretofore known; consequently it will prove valuable to those intending to keep their departments up to date.
