THE NEW ENGLAND WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) BURLINGTON, VT., Sept. 11, 1895. THE Fourteenth Annual Convention of the New England Water Works Association which opened on Wednesday is well attended,and the meeting promises to be a great success. There is a lengthy programme to be gone through containing a varied number of papers and topical discussions. Three sessions each day is the order,except Thursday, when an excursion has been arranged for the visitors. If the full list of subjects is discussed the con vention will not close unjil late Friday evening. Piesident Stacy is presiding with much ability, and Secretary Whitney has the business of the association well in hand. The governor of the state welcomed the members of the city on Wednesday, and the president delivered a very appropriate address,showing the association to be in a very prosperous condition.
