WELLS The artesian plant to be located at Delair, to supply Camden N. J., with water, is to give 20,000,000 gallons a day for ten years. The Elizabeth, N. J., Water Company has a large force of men at work driving artesian wells at a place known as the “ Hummuck,” two miles north of Elizabeth. Water has been reached at a depth of 200 feet. The water will be pumped into the city reservoirs, and will lessen the chances of a shortage. Wayne, Mich., is putting down wells for her waterworks system. The first one struck a good flow of water 112 feet down, and four others are’to be drilled.
