NEW ENGLAND WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION. [Special Dispatch to FIRE AND WATER. LYNN, Mass, June 10, 1896. The convention of the New England Water Works Association, after being duly called to order, has settled down to business. with Mr. Desmond FitzGerald in the chair. The attendance is fair, and consists of the usual element of men connected with water works in the New England States and those adjoining. The weather, however, is very bad and has interfered with the attendance to a considerable extent. The display of exhibits is decidedly good. It is attracting great attention and exciting general admiration. A full report of the proceedings shall appear next week.
