MISCELLANEOUS The following report of the committee on exhibits at the recent State Firemen’s conventional Massachusetts, was received by the Little Giant Fire Extinguishing Company: “After witnessing two severe tests of the Little Giant fire extinguisher at the Massachusetts State Firemen’s convention at Brockton, Thursday, September 17, 1896, and carefully looking into the construction and merits of this apparatus, we heartily recommend this wonderful little fire fighter for general use in factory, store, or house. Captain S. H. Huggon, chairman, Brockton, Mass.; Captain W. F. Daley, Brockton, Mass.; CaptainF.H. Moore, Brockton, Mass.; Lieutenant J. B. Nye; Lieutenant W. A. Pierson, Brockton, Mass.; committee on exhibits.” Sumter, S. C., has ordered another hose wagon of the Gleason & Bailey Manufacturing Company, New York, and Hillsboro, Texas, is to have a hose carriage from the sanr e builders.
