SEWERAGE A sewerage system is to be built in Guadalajara, Mexico for which $100,000 has been appropriated. Twenty-five miles of sewers will be built in the western part of the city and flush tanks will be freely used. At Newark, N Y., there are to be 700 feet of brick sewers three feet two inches by four feet interior diameter, with four manholes, with iron heads and covers and four basins complete, with solid granite heads and sides. Thelovest of four bidders was Philip H. Harrison & Son, $2,910. The lowest bidder for constructing sewers at Shebovgan, Wis., was R. Nommenson. $4,942.50. Lisbon Falls, Me. will build a $4,000 sewer. The new sewerage system of New Brighton, Pa., is to cost $60,000. Wildwood, N. J , has adopted the Waring system for its new sewer.
