PENNSYLVANIA FIRE ALARM BILL. The following is the text of a new fire alarm bill passed by the Pennsylvania legislature and now awaiting the signature of the governor: Art Act supplementaty to an act entitled “An act to provide for the better security of life and limb in cases of fire in hotels and other buildings,” approved the eleventh day of June, Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, as amended by act of the third June, Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, providing for fire alarms in said buildings and fixing a penalty for the violation thereof.
