NEW CONDUIT AT ROCHESTER. IN this issue are given two illustrations of scenes connected with laying the new conduit at Rochester, N.Y., bringing the water from Honeoye lake, the source of supply, to the city. The two illustrations represent the trench for the brick portion of the conduit leading from the lake, and riveting the sections of the conduit pipe itself. These conclude the series. Rochester, however, is not content with its new conduit and its present water supply. The growth of the city is *0 great and the prospects of increased manufacturing business which wiil call for the use of water render it necessary to look farther afield for some new source from which the reed: ol the citizens shall be satisfied.
