FIRE AND WATER. IN this souvenir number of FIRE AND WATER, issued in honor of the meeting of the New England Water Works Association at Newport, R I., will be found a menu such as should be acceptable to every water works man in the United States. As usual, the number itself is a masterpiece. In typography, illustrations, and the amount of reading matter to be found in its columns, it may well challenge comparison with any similar number issued by papers devoted to scientific and technical subjects, and forms a fitting accompaniment to its many predecessors.
