THE MECHANICAL RUBBER MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION. The Mechanical Rubber Manufacturers’ Association met according to call on Wednesday last at the Astor house,in this city, to discuss the condition of the trade—especially the troublesome question of guarantees on various forms of mechanical rubber goods, including rubber and cotton lined hose. The executive committee of the association consists of Amadee Spadone (Gutta Percha and Rubber Manufacturing Company), chairman; William H. Acken (New York Rubber Company); George W. Blanchard (Mechanical Rubber Company—Cleveland and Chicago works); H. C. Corson (Akron Rubber works); Edwin Davis (Boston Woven Hose and Rubber Company); James Bennett Forsyth (Boston Belting Company); L. K. McClymonds (New York Belting and Backing Company Limited); Henry C. Morse (Revere Rubber Company); [ohn J. Voorhees (New Jersey Car Spring and Rubber Company).
