At the annual meeting of the Exempt Firemen’s association held recently the following were elected officers for this year: President, Ellas P. Mann, first vice-president, John P. Judge, second vice-president, John W. Wike, recording secretary, Chas. W. Peoble, financial secretary, Chas. H. Richardson, treasurer, Albert E. Bonesteel. marshal, William A. Marrin. first assistant marshal, Philip Hanson, second assistant marshal, Peter J. Van Zandt, trustees, Richard F. Hall, Chas. Doring. jr. William J. Blakely. The treasurer’s annual report shows: Balance on hand January 12, 1S97. $343.IS; amount collected. $707.75; interest $470: total, $1,520.93. Disbursements— $(187.85—balance on hand January to. 1898, $833.98. The sinking fund amounts to $9,109.84; ’nvested in Trov Gas Company’s bonds. $6,000; Troy City Railway bonds, $3,000; in the National State bank $109.84.
