MISCELLANEOUS The Gleason & Bailey Manufacturing Company has been awarded the contract for the building of one double thirtygallon Muskegon chemical engine for the Park Ridge Volunteer fire department of Park Ridge N. J. Silver Spring, Md., a suburb of Washington. I). C., Saratoga, N. Y., and Media, Pa., will each add standpipes to the present water systems—contracts having been awarded and signed with Tippett & Wood. I’hillipsburg, N. J. Charles F. Holloway, of Baltimore, Md., has just delivered to the fire department of New Orleans one of the firm’s latest improved double-tank chemical engines.
