NEWARK’S WATER RIGHTS. The Newark board of works has formally adopted the resolutions of the water committee of the board calling upon the East Jersey Water company to fulfil in detail the terms of the contract with the city in respect to the Pequannock water supply. The substance of the resolutions was printed two weeks ago. The demands include the deeding tot he city of the Canistear reservoir, and of sufficient land around it, and also along the line of theconduits from Macopin to Belleville; the putting of Oak Ridge reservoir in proper condition, the transfer to the city of Echo lake, and all repairs and betterments needed in the watershed. Professor William P.
