MISCELLANEOUS A. F. & S. C. Stewart, of Rochester, N. Y. have just closed a contract with the city of Dunkirk, N. Y., for one of their latest improved hose wagons, together with two sets of fire harness, with the Weider improved non-chokeable collars and the Waterhouse trips.—Chief Fellows, of Bangor, Me, writes that he is very much pleased with the new chief’s buggy built for him by the same firm. The committee appointed by Avon. N. J., to investigate the different makes of chemical engines decided that the apparatus built by Chas.
