Issue 22 and Volume 26.

PERSONAL. Chief William T. Cox, of the fire department of Elizabeth, N. J., has been presented with a very handsome wagon, horse, and the necessary harness. The gift was that of the manufacturers in the lower wards. The fire insurance agents of Baltimore, Md., have presented Chief McAfee, of that city’s fire department, with a beautifully sculptured Italian marble bust, mounted upon an onyx pedestal—standing, with the bust, almost five feet from the floor. The gift was a wedding present. At Bucyrus Ohio, the Bucyrus Water Company has purchased sixty acres of land two miles from the city and will construct a reservoir. The supply of water will come from the natural watershed of 2,200 acres and will be delivered by gravity to the filtering plant in that city.
