RETIREMENT OF CHIEF MOORE. After nineteen years of service as a fireman, during seventeen of which he had been head of the fire department of Youngstown, Ohio, William H. Moore has retired from work and been placed on the pension roll. His successor is William Loller. Driver Thomas Reilly has been appointed assistant chief. Chief Moore, who 18 seventy years of age, rightly deserves, not only the opportunity of spending the rest of his life free from such responsibilities and cares us attend the life of the head of a fire department in a city of the size and importance of Youngstown, but also the pension attaching to service so faithful as his has been. He takes with him into his well-earned retirement the best wishes of his fellow citizens and his many friends among the firemen of America.
