The value of the Rex Fire Extinguisher company is becoming every day more and more appreciated, as is shown by its haviug recently sold seventeen of its twocylinder hand chemical engines and 300 of its threegallon copper Rex hand extinguishers to the board of managers of the National home for disabled volunteer soldiers for distribution among the various branches of the homes situated from Maine to California. The comt any is making large shipments abroad of these hand extinguishers—among the most recent being those of engines to the East Indies, Mexico, and several South American countries.
