THE NATIONAL FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES. Secretary D. W. Gillen has sent out the following circular of the National Firemen’s Association of the United States: “176 E. MONROF. STREET, “CHICACO. ILL. “The firemen, and especially the volunteer firemen of the United States, are slowly but surely coming to the front among the many organisations of the land. And why shouldn’t they, for nowhere will be found a class of men who do, and are ever ready to do for others without any reward? Few, if any, have much at stake when the alarm of fire sounds, Yet we find them ever ready to sacrifice their time, health, and life.
