THE ATLANTIC CITY CONVENTION. At the annual convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers, to be held at Atlantic City, N. J., on September 8, 9, 10, 11, there should be a large attendance, as that celebrated New Jersey watering place affords excellent accommodations for such an occasion. With ample hotel space reasonable rates may be obtained, while the fine breezes of the Atlantic will refresh those mostly accustomed to spend the whole year round in the inland places. Ample arrangements for entertaining delegates will he provided, and the topics arranged by the directors cannot fail to prove interesting and create wide discussion. Every fire engineer and fire commissioner ought to make an effort to be present for the good of the service.
