INTERNATIONAL FIRE CONGRESS AT BUDA-PESTH. Correspondence of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING. The third International Fire congress, now a matter of history, undoubtedly outshone its predecessors in every way. It was held at Buda-Pesth, Hungary, on August 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. The attendance was enormous, the Hungarian volunteer fire departments sending large delegations. Germany, France, Italy, Russia. Servia, Roumania, Belgium, and other countries were well represented, and on the three or four occasions at which full parade uniform was demanded the showing was decidedly brilliant. England was not professionally represented, its delegation consisting of Fire Prevention association members and Insurance men, headed by a German Jew, who was got up in a fantastic uniform for the occasion.
