Ludlow, Mass., may obtain a water supply from Huntington. Although water is a non-intoxicant, it makes barrels tight. Carthage, N. Dak., has now an excellent new waterworks system, with an abundant supply. Plankinton, S. Dak., has completed its new waterworks system. The new waterworks system at Clare, Mich., will soon be installed. A standpipe is to be built by the local waterworks company at Dixon, III. Knoxville, Tenn., will soon have a number of fiveinch fireplugs set throughout the city. The sum of $28,000 is to be spent on the improvement and extension of the Ames, la., waterworks.
