FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING This issue of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING appears in a new and enlarged form. It has been increased from twenty-eight to thirty-six pages every week, and these will be added to from time to time as the occasion demands. In its twentyseven years of existence it has grown from a small sixteen-page paper to be the largest journal of its class published in the world. With this issue it branches out still farther, with additional reading and advertising space, so that it outstrips all similar class papers in size by ioo per cent.
