THE LATE W. E. DECROW. On November 25, while standing in front of the bulletin boards on Summer street, Boston, reading the returns from the Yale-Harvard game, William E. Decrow, New England manager of the Gamewell Fire Alarm & Telegraph company, an old Yale graduate and formerly a newspaper editor and writer, dropped dead from heart disease. The above notice will be read with true sorrow by all who knew William E. Decrow. He was born in Bangor, Me., on December 26, 1853, and educated at the public schools of that city. In 1876 he went to Yale, and. while there, continued the newspaper work he bad begun in Bangor, keeping it up after his graduation till 1887, when he accepted a position with the Gamewell Fire Alarm and Telegraph company.
