FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING Circulars issued by the president and secretary of the International Association of Fire Engineers urge chiefs still holding out to become members, and to assist in waking up those allied with the interests of the association and others not members now, who at present play a passive part, to join its ranks. A great inducement to come into the fold is offered to new comers by the presentation to them free of copies of the last proceedings. A glance at this book must convince the ordinary head of a fire department that the proper place for him is on the roll of the International Association of Fire Engineers.
