AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION. According to arrangements made by J. A. Tilden, chairman of the local committee, and J. M. Diven, secretary of the American Water Works association, there seems to be no doubt that the twenty-sixth annual convention will be a great success. The list of papers and discussions shows at once that the literary part of the program surpasses in number and quality those presented at any previous convention in the history of waterworks associations throughout the country. These valuable papers alone are well worth the attendance of those interested in waterworks management everywhere. There are so many interesting points to visit round Boston, and especially the great Wachusett dam, in Clinton, that the provision in the program to see this work must prove a great incentive to progressive waterworks men.
