SANITATION IN FIRE STATIONS. A correspondent sends the following on the ahove subject, which will prove interesting to those having the care of horses: “Fifty years ago, had anyone said that we should ever travel at the rate of too miles an hour, he would have been called a fool. Had he mentioned wireless telegraphy, electric street cars, automobiles or any one of a thousand things that today are taken as a matter of course, he might not have been incarcerated as a maniac; but people would have looked upon him as crazy. Anyone seeing the statement made above would contrast the world today, would look back over the past fifty years and over the changes that have taken place, and would profit thereby.
