WATER LITIGATION. ANNISTON, ALA. The City court of Anniston, Ala., has decided that the Anniston Water Supply company may charge each separate consumer a minimum fee of fifty cents per month, where the amount of water consumed is less than 33 1/3 cu. ft., on the ground that the minimum rate for any one consumer shall be fifty cents per month, and that the word consumer shall be construed to mean each separate family, business firm, corporation or individual except manufacturers and railroads, using water for domestic or business purposes. The decision grew put of the case of Samuel Robinson vs. the Attniston Water Supply company, which was appealed last month from the recorder’s court. SCOTTDALE, PA.
