TIFFIN WATER RATES. The council of Tiffin, Ohio, has fixed the rates for water as follows: The Chapin meter rate has been adopted, except that the minimum rate is for 45,000 instead of 40,000 gallons. The rate is as follows: Twenty cents up to 45,000 gallons: eighteen cents, 45,000 to 100,000 gallons; fifteen cents, 100,000 to 200,000 gallons; twelve cents, 200,000 to 500,000 gallons; ten cents, 500,000 and over. It was also understood that the minimum flat rate to private consumers be $8, and that there be no meter rate. The schedule of Chapin for private consumers was decided upon. This is an increase of ten per cent, over the rate in the resolution adopted.
